Getting better :)

So last night i actually spent a couple of hours just going through song books retrying all these pieces. I feel so much better about playing now! I have so many more chords memorized and my transitions are smoother. I just have to get my strumming a little stronger.

Taming the Ibanez!

Yes I have been slacking off but to be fair I’ve been in a lot of physical pain from a car accident I was in a month ago.

But I’m back! I’ve started learning the chords to Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai – so far so good. Just need to work on the transitions.

need more practice

Today i put in 30 mins of practice. Note to self, need to sit on proper chair to play properly. I’m struggling with Bass/Strumming. Need keep trying… after this Arpeagio.

My first song

I know it’s not much but so far I’ve managed to learn “Leaving on a Jet Plane” – John Denver.

I relearned the following chords: C, G, D, D7, A and E.

I think I’m going to get more books and DVDs for learning guitar.

My Ibanez

I love my Ibanez! It’s a beautiful, lightweight, orange, cutaway guitar. Just holding it inspires me to want to play.

The guitar blog

This blog is a musical blog to keep me inspired and learning. I recently purchased a guitar and am trying really hard to get back into playing. In the past I managed to get to an advanced beginner level. Now let’s see how long it takes to get to there and onwards.

Dhaani…

So what is dhaani? It’s the name of a beautiful song that I like. It’s also the 6th and 7th notes in the scale.
